Kaffir lime prawns

Ingredient:

Udang

Kaffir lime leaves, chillies and shallot (daun jeruk, cabe dan bawang merah)

Lime juice (jus jeruk nipis)

salt (garam)

salt (merica)

oil (minyak)

 

Method:

  • Put kaffir lime leaves, shallot and chillies in a blender and become a paste
  • heat oil in the wok and put in the paste
  • when it becomes fragrant, put in your prawns and cooked until it turns pink
  • put in a little bit of lime juice (not too much or it will become sour) and added in salt to taste
  • serve with rice
Cara Masak:
  • masukan daun jeruk, bawang merah dan cabe di blender dan menjadi saus
  • panasin minyak di panci, masukin saus
  • saat itu menjadi harum, masukan udang dan masak sampai matang
  • masukin sedikit jus jeruk nipis (jangan terlalu banyak atau menjadi asam) dan garam secukupnya
  • makan dengan nasi.
I got this recipe from mum to create prawn cake(savoury cake) , a traditional teo chew cake which is my favourite. I decided just to make the paste to eat with rice instead of making the cake.
Resep ini saya dapatkan dari Mama saya untuk membuat kue udang (he kue – 蝦果), kue kesukaan saya. Saya hanya membuat sausnya untuk dimakan dengan nasi daripada membuat kuenya.
